In Summer 2015, we built upon the last summer's pilot project with teens using technology to create unique digital content.

Working off of the Library's recent exhibition focused on the history of music in Rhode Island, Don't Stop the Music, teen participants created digital videos about two emblematic and historic music venues, Providence Performing Arts Center and Trinity Theater. Participants reviewed historic material, and took in-depth tours of both buildings. Using iPads to capture digital content, they then created short videos of their chosen venue with iMovie.

The program was lead by PPL staff Shannon Lake, Teen Librarian and Don Gregory, Technology Instructor. There was also assistance by Kate Wells, Rhode Island Collection Librarian and Stacie Parillo, Digital Producer. Click on a video to view the teens' work.
